Jeff Suppan tossed a fine 3 hitter as the Dyersville Jurassics defeated the
Caracas Leones by a score of 5 to 4 at the ballpark.
Suppan(5-3) delivered a fine performance for Dyersville. He went 9 innings
allowing 3 hits and 6 walks. Caracas threatened in the 9th but their rally
came up short.
C.C. Sabathia(3-4) was the loser. He pitched 6 innings giving up 7 hits and 4
walks. 'We lose our concentration for one pitch, and we lose the game.' Alan
Dyche said after the game. 'Maybe now these guys will listen when I say they
have to concentrate on EVERY pitch.'
